Artist:
Admiral Sir GERALD VAUGHAN GLADSTONE (1901-1978). Gladstone joined Royal Naval College, Osborne, May 1915 and then went to Dartmouth Naval College in January 1917. He was a keen artist and was able to make a number of contributions to the termly produced Britannia magazine at Dartmouth. On leaving Dartmouth, he joined the Battle Cruiser, HMS Tiger, as Midshipman.
