"MORNING" - Dawn sees the departure of the first patrol. The aerodrome is cold and desolate, but there is a beauty in the sight of the sun-kissed machine in the air, and promise in the glory of the sunrise. A tired wireless mechanic puts out the "K" in answer to the calling-up signal of the departing machine. A pilot and his observer (probably in pyjamas under their flying clothes) are seen rushing to their machine. The hangars look dreary and gaunt. It is that "early morning" feeling that few will forget.
