Post 9, Rue Bacquerot, forward of Fleurbaix. A farmhouse round which we constructed a strongpoint as reserve line to the front trenches. A Bosche airman evidently noticed us, as the place was shelled and destroyed by fire the day after this sketch was made. Annotated on back of picture - Farmhouse in Rue Bacquerot, forward of Sailly, forming a rear-line post which was destroyed by shell fire the day after this sketch was made and while we were still working in it - May 1915.
