A Stable on the Western Front. The stable at Boubers-sur-Canche, Frévent, was originally used as an airship shed. It housed the naval airship SS40, which was used for observation over the Somme Front on the 1st July 1916.

Sir DAVID MUIRHEAD BONE, NEAC HRSW HRSA HARIBA (1876-1953). Appointed as Britain's first official war artist in May 1916. Commissioned as an honorary Second Lieutenant, he arrived in France during the Battle of the Somme, serving with the Allied forces on the Western Front and also with the Royal Navy for a time.
