Artist:Captain WILL LONGSTAFF, AIF (1879-1953). He was a distinguished Australian artist. and was appointed to join a group called the War Records Section. Longstaff recorded numerous scenes in his sketchbook covering many campaigns on the Western Front in France and Belgium. He was twice mentioned in Dispatches for his work in camouflage techniques.
