They are : 1) 12/1247 Lance Corporal Ernest Emmerson, York and Lancaster Regiment, 12th (Service) (Sheffield) Battalion.. Born Scoles, Rotherham. Enlisted Sheffield. KIA France and Flanders 1.7.16. 2) 2129 Acting Corporal Ernest Emmerson, Norfolk Regiment, 1/5th Battalion (T.F.). Born Dersingham, Norfolk. Enlisted Dersingham. Died Gallipoli 28.8.15.
