Coloured woven belt produced by a member of the Royal West Surreys - 1917-1918 - with the words South Africa, India and Mesopotamia. This soldier could well have served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa in 1914 and transferred, possibly, to the 1/5 Battalion serving in India and Mesopotamia.
